Our partners about HWSeeds: Paul Thomas of Isle of Wight Tomatoes

23 diciembre 2025 - Isle of Wight Tomatoes began working with HW Seeds in 2020 through a small number of targeted trials. It quickly became clear that their varieties were different, delivering standout flavour, quality and performance compared with much of what was available in the market.

HW Seeds breeds innovative, high-flavour tomato varieties, which aligns perfectly with the premium position of Isle of Wight Tomatoes. Their partnership model, working with a limited number of growers in each country, allows us to offer exclusive varieties that are not available from any other UK grower. This gives us the ability to create clear flavour differentiation for our customers.

What truly sets HW Seeds apart is the people. They are a small, passionate team who genuinely care about creating the best tomatoes. Working closely with growers, they take the time to listen, collaborate and understand what’s needed, whether that’s flavour, plant performance or consistency. Just as importantly, they never stand still. Their varieties continue to evolve and improve year after year, driven by a shared ambition to keep pushing quality and flavour forward.
